課程概述 |
本課程將研讀十八世紀以來的「學校故事」，探討兒童與青少年文學如何再現學校生活，觀察學校之為教育體制 (institutionalization of education)，其興起如何與以家庭為主的教養方式互有消長，進而成為現代童年(modern childhood)，不可或缺的面向。
評量方式 Grading:

課程目標 |
西方文學作品兩百多年來所呈現的學校形象褒貶不一，顯示學校作為教育體制在人類社會裡所扮演的角色，其實歷經了許多的辯論與轉折。本課程透過多樣化的兒童與青少年文學作品研讀，協助同學從學校故事所呈現的同儕關係、成人權威、空間規劃、與課程設計，窺見社會力量介入童年與個人成長的例子。 |
